Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
Information we collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
Information you give us: When you fill in our quiz, application, or contact form, book a call, or complete onboarding, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details, your answers about licensing and markets, and your messages.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
Payments: When you pay, Stripe collects your card or bank details directly. We receive your name, email address, the amount, and the payment status, but not your full card number.
Signed agreements: When a client signs our service agreement, we record the typed signature, name, email address, plan, agreement version, date and time, and the IP address the signature came from, as evidence of the agreement.
Information collected automatically: When you visit, we and the providers named below collect device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, the ad campaign or link that brought you (campaign tags such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs such as fbclid), and actions you take, such as starting or submitting our quiz. See "Cookies, browser storage, and tracking" below.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- •Provide, operate, and maintain our website
- •Improve, personalize, and expand our website
- •Understand and analyze how you use our website
- •Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
- •Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website, and for marketing and promotional purposes
- •Send you emails
- •Measure and improve our advertising, including reporting form submissions to Meta and learning which campaigns bring visitors to our site
- •Process payments, set up the services you buy, and keep records of signed agreements
- •Find and prevent fraud
SMS/Text Messaging Privacy
We value your privacy and the security of your information. This section specifically addresses how we handle your mobile number and SMS consent.
We do not share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, other than the service providers that send our messages on our behalf.
Separately, when you submit a form on our site, the phone number and email address you enter are converted in your browser into a one-way SHA-256 hash and may be sent to Meta to measure and improve our own ads, as described under "Advertising and analytics" below. Your SMS opt-in and consent are never part of that.
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Virtual Blue Agency. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Data Security and Handling
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Log Files
Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs of requests to our site, including IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested. We use these logs to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the site, and we do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies, browser storage, and tracking
We use cookies and similar browser storage for the purposes below. Some are set by our own site and some by the providers named under "Advertising and analytics".
- •_fbp (cookie set by our site, kept 90 days): a random browser ID used with the Meta Pixel to measure our ads.
- •_fbc (cookie set by our site, kept 28 days): the Meta ad click ID (fbclid), saved when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad.
- •Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*, set by Google Analytics, by default kept up to two years): tell visits and visitors apart for site statistics.
- •Attribution record (browser local storage, kept 90 days): the campaign tags, ad click IDs, landing page, and referring site from your first and most recent visits. When you submit a form, this record is sent with it so we know which campaign brought you.
- •Event ID (browser session storage, cleared when you close the tab): a random ID that links your form submission to the matching ad event, so it is counted once.
- •Quiz progress (browser local storage): the answers and contact details you type into our quiz, so you can continue where you left off. It is removed when you submit.
- •Onboarding progress (browser local storage): after a purchase, your name, email address, and the onboarding steps you have completed, so the page remembers your progress.
Our booking calendars (provided by GoHighLevel, also known as LeadConnector) and our videos (provided by Wistia) load from those providers' servers and may set their own cookies. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
Advertising and analytics
Meta Pixel: We use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, Inc. to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. It can record the pages you view on our site and events such as submitting our quiz, together with the identifiers described above. When you submit a form, we also use Meta's Advanced Matching: your email address, phone number, first and last name, and (if you provide them) city, state, and ZIP code are converted in your browser into one-way SHA-256 hashes before they are sent to Meta. Meta uses them to match the event to a Meta account for ad measurement and delivery. Meta's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics 4 from Google LLC to understand how visitors use the site: the pages viewed, how you arrived, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the quiz steps you complete. Google's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Who we share information with
We share personal information with the service providers that help us run our business, for the purposes described in this policy:
- •GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): our CRM. It stores form submissions, bookings, and client records, and sends our emails and text messages.
- •Stripe: processes payments.
- •Slack: our team's internal notifications (for example, new contact-form messages, sign-ups, and payments) and the private channel we create for each client.
- •Netlify: hosts this website and the server functions that handle forms, sign-ups, and payments, and stores signed-agreement records.
- •Supabase: hosts our client portal, which receives clients' signed-agreement and billing records.
- •Meta and Google: advertising measurement and site analytics, as described above.
- •Wistia and Google Fonts: video playback and fonts, as described above.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a successor if our business is sold or merged. We do not sell personal information for money.
How long we keep information
- •In your browser: as listed above: 90 days for _fbp and the attribution record, 28 days for _fbc, until you close the tab for the event ID, and by default up to two years for Google Analytics cookies. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
- •Leads, contacts, and messages: while we have a business relationship with you or you may still become a client, or until you ask us to delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- •Client records, payments, and signed agreements: for the life of the client relationship and afterwards for as long as needed to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations and to resolve disputes.
- •Server logs and data held by Meta and Google: according to those providers' retention settings.
Your choices and how to opt out
- •Browser settings: block or delete cookies and site data (local storage), or use a private window. Most of the site works without them.
- •Meta: manage your ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences and disconnect off-Meta activity under "Your activity off Meta technologies" in Meta's Accounts Center.
- •Google Analytics: install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- •Interest-based ads in general: use the Digital Advertising Alliance tool at optout.aboutads.info.
- •Email and text messages: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to any text.
- •Your information: email support@virtualblueagency.com to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
This policy does not cover other companies' websites or services. Meta, Google, and our other providers have their own privacy policies that explain their practices and opt-out options.
CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)
Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Virtual Blue Agency does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
